1924:

Foundation of Diessel.

1945:

Destruction of the building during the war and immediate reconstruction of the new factory premises.

1955:

Fritz Diessel retires from the management. His son Lothar Diessel is the successor.

1958:

Development of the DIESSEL milk collecting truck.

1963:

Diessel's first participation in the Dairy Engineering Exhibition in London. Orders are placed for 50 yoghurt systems with a planetary paddle mixer which was especially developed for that system.

1969:

Relocation of the factory premises to Hildesheim-Bavenstedt.

1971:

Walter Diessel retires. His son Dipl.Kfm. Victor Diessel is the successor.

1974:

Celebration of Diessel’s 50th firm’s anniversary.

1983:

Start of activities in the biotech industry by cooperation with the GBF (company for biotechnical research).

1988:

Lothar Diessel sells its business shares completely to Victor Diessel and retires from the business.

1997:

Dipl. Kfm. Börge Diessel, son of Victor Diessel, represents the fourth generation joining the company.

1999:

Celebration of Diessel’s 75th firm’s anniversary.

2003:

Branches organization

2004:

Takeover of Diessel activities by the GEA group. Registration as GEA Diessel GmbH.
