Peristaltic sampler (principle of a hose pump) type PS3™ – especially
suitable for sampling on road tankers
The constant sampling of liquid out of the running intake process on tank
trucks is necessary to determine the ingredients in the laboratory or to
monitor and record the product quality during the whole production process.
A constant sampling ensures the binding traceability acc. to EC
guidelines 178/2002.
The sampler type PS3™ works according to the
principle of a hose pump and enables you to take the sample directly from the
hose pipe.
Special features:
- Continuous operation because a step motor is used
- Low carry-over due to very small moistening areas in the system and
additional control of backwashing
- Suitable for bacteriological sampling
- Good cleaning capability
- Bottle holders of different sizes
- Bottle sensor as option
- Filling needle, hose nozzle or injection needle possible
- PS3i™ version available as independent control with display and
keyboard
Usually, the sampler motor is activated by means of an existing control or
via a data capture system, e. g.
ZEVODAT-M.
Contrary to that, the sampler of the „PS3i“ type works
independently. The sampling procedure can be controlled via the volume or the
time. The expected sampling quantity is entered via the keyboard.
By
means of an additional liquid detector the sampler can be automatically started
and stopped.
Even a minimal data capture can be realized
optionally with this version, including:
- Storage of tour and individual data with date/time
- Voucher print-out of the data with the suppliers
- Data transfer via cable at the end of the tour
