Automation
High quality automation products and services need to meet
exacting standards. The process plant and the software must be designed to work
seamlessly together, the supplier must meet all necessary regulations and the
result must satisfy all the client´s needs.
Basic Engineering
Before starting a project we need to perform ´basic engineering´.
STRONG> This involves creating the principal layout and all necessary
calculations to give the plant the required shape and function. We then
generate the User Requirement Specification
(URS) and, from that, produce the automation
concepts: the basic specifications for hardware and software as well
as the documentary requirements needed for FDA, GAMP and ATEX
approval. At this stage the client knows not only what to measure
and control but also why and where and how it is going to be
visualized and documented. The plan for the detail engineering
can then be completed.
Finally, we producte a schedule and a cost-estimation to provide an overview
for the ongoing project management.
Detail Engineering
After completion of the basic engineering, a
detailed layout of the automation system is
required. We do the planning of the detailed functional
specification (FS), the hardware design
specifications (HDS) for each part as well as for, the
installations plans, parts lists and wiring
diagrams. We also design the layout of the
I/O diagrams, parameter lists and control
panels according to specific needs.
Since an automation system is incomplete without software, the
Software Design Specification (SDS), the PLC
software, the visualization, the batch
software and the SQL data bank are tailored by
our experienced staff to meet specific requirements.
If necessary, as an additional safeguard, we can do a risk-based
analysis of the complete process.
Our automation systems conform to 21 CFR Part
11.
